Large folding camp table
This is our main camping table. It's seen considerable use.
This is our main camp table and it's indispensable. Almost all developed camp sites have picnic tables available to use. Quite often they can't be moved though, either because they've been permanently fixed in place or because of rules specifically prohibiting it. Even when it's okay to move them, they're usually awkward and heavy. This Coleman folding table is a must addition to any serious campers gear. It sells for less than 40 bucks and sets up in fifteen seconds. This one also serves double duty as my bar-b-que table in the back yard, where it's equally indispensable.
The table originally came with a handy little carrying strap but Buddy gnawed it off when he was teething as a puppy. I don't miss the strap all that much. When it's folded up, the two halves clip together snugly and it can still be carried with one hand easily enough.
This table has seen extensive use. In addition to taking it camping, I leave it set up year round in my back yard next to the grill. In the summer when it's hot I hose the back slab down with water and Buddy lays down in the table's shade to keep cool. Great for cleaning fish on, cooking, whatever, again, the compact size and portability are this table's best selling points. |
