Chicago battery charger - Automatic shut-off.
charges 6 volt or 12 volt batteries
I bought this battery charger on sale for $24.95 at Harbor Freight three years ago. I didn't plan on ever actually having to use it. I mean who plans on batteries going dead? Luckily I've only had to use it one time to charge one of my vehicle's batteries. The battery in my pick-up went dead one night when I left the stereo on by accident. It was worth 24 bucks not to have to call out for a jump start. I bought a fishing boat two years ago that needed some work done on the starter and ignition systems. For the better part of a week I kept the boat's battery topped off so I could test the starter over and over again while I tried to repair it, work that wouldn't even have been possible without the charger. How much was that worth to me? A battery charger, like an air compressor, is one of those tools that will eventually pay for itself if you keep it around long enough.
