Bear with his soccer ball. He cared far less about the trout than he did getting somebody to throw that ball. We let Bear run free in the camp area and sometimes when we fished (only if no one else was around), even though technically he was supposed to be on a leash. This is one of those rules that is ignored by a lot of people. If you have well behaved dog you can get away with it.
