I never liked this USB drive. I bought it in 2006 after having done an in-depth comparison of all the external mini hard drives I could find (under 10GB). On paper the Diskgo 5GB USB mini hard drive is a hands down winner. The 480Mbps transfer speed is average. It's certainly not as fast (my Memorex USB flash drive is twice as fast, for instance). I used mine maybe four or five times and then one day it just quit working. I'd plug it into a USB port and it wouldn't show up as a drive. It was dead and the six month limited warranty that came with it had already expired. I won't be buying any more Edge products.
