This is one side of the tent camping area at Shawnee Lake in Topeka. In the past twenty years, the area reserved for tent camping has been reduced to one small section at the far end of the campground near the swimming beach. It used to be about even with as many spots for tents as there were RV hook-ups. That ratio has changed drastically over the years and today RV spots far outnumber tent camp sites.
